Aliante
The 1,905-acre North Las Vegas master-planned community of Aliante is being developed by North Valley Enterprises, a partnership between American Nevada Corp. and Del Webb Communities. The community will offer two villages, one an age-qualified retirement neighborhood and the other a traditional family village.
More than 420 acres in the area have been designated as open space. Planned amenities include a 20-acre Nature Discovery Park with a lake, trails and parks, and construction has begun to create new schools, a library and a fire station. Approximately 100 acres have been designated for commercial development and will include shopping centers, offices and a 40-acre resort gaming hotel.
Aliante is bordered roughly by Grand Teton Drive to the north, Centennial Parkway to the south, Decatur Boulevard to the west and Clayton Street to the east. Perfectly located at the north end of the Las Vegas Valley, Aliante boasts beautiful mountain views and is conveniently located near the new I-215 beltway. Aliante residents are within 15 minutes of downtown Las Vegas and 25 minutes from the strip, where they can enjoy the numerous restaurants, casinos, and shows that the city has to offer.

If golf is your game, Aliante Homes would be your place. This community is home to the Aliante Golf Club. The course has a daily fee to play and is an 18 hole public green. Gary Parks Associates is the firm responsible for creating this incredible looking golf course. The Aliante Golf Club course is close to 7,000 yards and is a par 72. This particular course has a patio and covered pavilion that has enough room to house large groups or parties.
Aliante Homes feature 3 unique parks for their residents and guests. These 3 parks together make up 45 acres. Parks are family oriented and these do not disappoint. Aviary Park is located north of I-215 on the north side of the community. An active day is in store at this park with basketball courts, lighted soccer, baseball, and softball fields. Aviary Park also features a picnic and play area for children. The largest of the 3 parks is Nature Discovery Park at 20 acres. This park combines education with nature. Features include a playground, Water Park, and a tot lot for children. An exiting feature of Nature Discovery Park is the man made lake with its breathtaking waterfalls. Lighted tennis courts, a volleyball stadium, and horseshoe pits are other attractions to the park. Deer Springs Park is the third park that is adjacent to a newly opened elementary school. The park shares the baseball and softball fields with the school and also features basketball courts and a picnic/play area.
Entertainment inside and outside the Aliante community vary. The community sponsors events and those are always changing, leaving residents feeling refreshed with new activities. Dining in Aliante in Las Vegas is as easy as visiting the local golf club. You can visit The Grille there or head to the Aliante Information Gallery to have a bite to eat at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway is close enough for your viewing. A trip down the beltway and the race is on. Casinos are also on the way there if your pocket starts to itch. For those of you that need to shop, your needs are met in the Aliante community.
