Desert Realty was established in 1973.
The company was purchased by the Robertson family in 1980. By 1983 C. Terry Robertson, broker, was in the process of converting the sales agency to a property management company.
Although Desert Realty is licensed as a full service real estate company, over 85% of its income is derived from property management in Las Vegas.
Desert Realty has always specialized in the management of single family homes and small apartment complexes for rent in Las Vegas. In fact, Desert Realty was one of the first companies in the state to primarily manage Las Vegas single family houses.

The company manages over 1,100 homes for rent in the Las Vegas metropolitan area!
This is accomplished with 12 employees working full time in property management. Six of our employees have been employed by Desert Realty ten years or longer, with the longest term being 15 years.
George Morrissey, the Broker of Property Services, Inc. used to visit rental properties as a kid in Southern Nevada when his father purchased homes during the late 60's and 70's. Having liked investing so much his father retired from the Air Force as a Lt. Col. and became a full time real estate broker and investor.
Following in his father's footsteps George purchased his first rental property in 1977 as a teenager while playing tennis full time on an athletic Scholarship at UNLV setting some all time school records. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science Finance degree with a concentration in real estate in 1980, George began managing property full time for others in 1981 as well as working as a full time Realtor, real estate agent and investor.
There was a stretch of time when he managed 75 homes for five years by himself streamlining his techniques and technology to become very efficient as well as having a family and normal life! Later in 1996 opening his own brokerage he expanded adding more agents who help manage homes that rent from $5,900 a month to as low as $650.
With no vacancy or other "garbage fees" new and long-term clients get many benefits using the over sixty years of combined rental property investment experience from the staff. Each agent at Property Services, Inc. is also a full time rental home investor, property manager for multiple clients, and Realtor. Each agent has the special Nevada Property Management permit needed to manage other client's homes. George has overseen and personally leased over 3,000 properties in his career!
We are a full service company, and manage property supplying all the needs and services from A to Z for multiple clients - many who are out of state.
The office is located in the center of the city with the staff and agents using "trade secrets" and special insights to get superior results. Our clients get the same strategy, tips and recommendations that we use ourselves for our own rental property. We manage property on purpose, not by accident! We have long-term tenants and owners who continue to do business with us and have over a few decades.
We have customized agreements and methods that protect the owner over many more situations than standard off the shelf forms along with using old and new school ideas for great results. Not being too big or small has helped us focus on keeping our relationships with our clients well where we know their desires and needs more than others so they don't get lost "in the shuffle" of Las Vegas and in the vast pool of large companies!
